Spill what MTRS????
I've already posted my fuel delivery and ignition issues. I going to use either 310 or 370cc saturated injectors, 255lph Walbro Hi-press. pump, J&S, colder NGK's, B&M commandflo (for idle), and A/F gauge (to check fuel at WOT). That's about it.

Whats the happs!
Hey yOssa, I e-mailed you a while back, what's the details with your car dude. Is it a 93 or 95? Your sig says 95 but you posted 93. That car is going to be "off the hook"! Got any mods planned yet?
What's up with all this "jumping ship" stuff. Who is jumping ship? What ship? I didn't think wanting a faster car was a bad thing, isn't it the natural progression of things, to want more? Man, some people take this stuff way too seriously I guess.
Lundgren, what's the deal with the "ultimate drag car" thing? You have voiced your commitment to autoX, so I guess you know about the car classifications right? You know what "super stock" is right? This class includes such cars as the NSX, Porshe 911, Supra, RX7, last and certainly not least: the Camaro SS and TransAM WS6. If these cars can't handle, why does SCCA seem to think that they can well enough to compete with top tier import supercars? Apparently they handle well enough that SCCA decided to classify the GSR with the V6 F-body and placed the V8's in faster classes. I guess my point is that we have little more that just a "drag car" as you put it.
So let me get this straight, Silvino is selling his car? SSBP did too? Jesus, what the hell happened around here? What did SSBP get?

Kevin, lundgren is referring to the state of his teg now. I ran my Teg in E-Mod all last season and tore up on Stock Camoron SS's. Most of the time I beat all the cars in Super Stock. I even beat some street-prepared SS's. Let's face it, if you weren't looking at a "primarily" drag car, you wouldn't be buying a V8 Musclecar. It may handle okay, in fact better than they ever did in the past, but they are still not even close to the best. They may be more reliable now, but GM is not known for it's reliability. They certainly have gone downhill in "overall" quality, the interior is the same cheeeaaappp plastic crap found in all the low-line GM products. We already went through this a long time ago, but I feel it necessary to not dishearten the newbies. I too will be moving to a new ride in the near future (also a Supra) however, I am going to keep the Teg and run it in E-Mod for now and in ST-U once they have it in our region. Already it is a good Auto-X'er, and with some of the changes I plan to make this winter, it should really kick ass. Good luck on the Camaro, but we all know that quarter mile time was too seductive for you.

All I'm saying is for those who start drag racing, and focus on it, not getting the times they want, end up selling their modified Integra's, getting a cheap rear wheel drive for that application.
If 1/4 mile times are the most important thing, putting quailty, handling and other factors down the list, the Integra is not the car to buy or own.
Kevin: When are you getting your Camaro?

Well my decision changed when I realize my "quality" was going downhill when i modded my Teg for handling and power. Also, I learned just how cheap and easy it was to make an LS1 faster and handle much better than stock. I rode in a handling modded LS1 and I still prefer the feeling of a super handling GSR but they can hang just as good if not better even though the feeling isn't as good. My GSR has been fun but for what I want to do (street, drag and AutoX) I think I'll be happier with an LS1. If the Endyn kit was out, maybe I would have a different opinion but it isn't.

Yet another person left in search of the elusive "all-encompasing" car. You want a car to run on the street, the autox, and the dragstrip. The suspension differences alone make this a difficult approach. The best auto-x cars are brought on a trailer, same with drag cars. A street legal car is never going to be the best at all. So, even if you buy the baddest ass street car, mod it for drag, and try to setup the suspension and gearing for auto-x, chances are you will still get beat everywhere. The only thing you have to decide is if you want to be a jack of all trades or a dedicated racer. A $25k Camaro with another $10 in mods can still get beat around the autox course by a $3000 CRX with $5000 in mods. It may still get beat on the dragstrip buy an old Pinto with a fully built big block spraying the juice. ANd no matter what, without the slicks and the ride setup right, you will get beat on the street, by someone! I am not fooling myself into thinking my car is the best at anything. When I am done with it as a street car, it is going to be a dedicated auto-crosser. I may take it to the strip once in awhile to work out some kinks, but it will never be a dragstrip queeen. And I will rip shit on the CPreppared Camaros all day long!!!
